What a great win! Rooney, Carrick and Scholes were exceptional.
Bit of a downer to see the headhunters win would have been nice to have seen a draw between them and the gooners.

Arsenal should have won I blame wenger for not buying enough players, we have been 2 world class attacking players short all season. [glow=red,2,300]We still going to thrash liverpool in a few weeks [/glow] Oh, but you didn't... Second leg on tues...

Man United killed it last year, props for that.
Get ready for the Arsenal revolution though, you've been warned.

i support Arsenal...but let's be honest here, there's going to be no "Arsenal Revolution" this season...we'll just about get a Champions League spot...gotta be level headed and realistic, our squad is not large or flexible enough to cope with this season. hopefully that fact will be something that's emphasised by Wenger in the summer..we defo need a couple of more defensive players (not kids) and perhaps a another striker (get rid of Bendtner)...
I truly think that Man Utd will do it again this season..don't think they'll quite win the champions league though

I meant in the future.
Doubt wenger will buy any strikers for some time as we have vela and Walcott coming through, as well as Wilshire, who will eventually play the ''Bergkamp'' role according to wenger. I can see Bendtner being sold for something like 10-12 mill in the summer though, unless he makes a big impact this season.
Four players short in my opinion, attacking midfielder, defensive midfielder, goal keeper and a centre back. Hopefully Arshavin will finally sign on Monday.
Its scandalous how wenger never replaced flamini in the summer, and he is paying for it now, how Gilberto Silva and Flamini leave and you buy no replacements in that position is beyond me, but we know wenger is stubborn and wont buy unless its the right player at the right price.

oh yeah, future is good providing that we keep hold of the prodigys we have..
yeah arshavin would be a good addition, a good play maker and is confident on taking on opposition players one on one..nothing confirmed today but theres an extension to the window so there's still time, although i'm still convinced we need that holding player in the middle of the park...like u said, someone of similar stature to Gilberto or Flamini...that Miquel Veloso looks like someone who has potential to fulfil that role
bendtner's swag lol...i mean he's scored a goal here and there..still not sure he will go for £10-£12 mill, he could well do in this day and age of transfer fee inflation but he's definately not worth that. Wouldn't say Walcott's a striker, where he's made an impact for both Arsenal and England in recent time has been the right wing, and as I can recall this is where the Gaffer believes is most suitable for him.
..Vela looks quality, he's got good movement but he hasn't been playing on the first team as regularly...maybe he will be seen more next season.
not forgetting Eduardo...he feels ready to make his come back..and hopefully he'll be back and even better, good luck to him

Veloso is lightweight, him and fab in the middle of the park would get raped. Sporting Lisbon wanted something like 20 mill for him a few years ago when Arsenal/United were showing strong interest, since then he has not developed, so much so that he was in talks with Bolton in the last few days. I don't know, I have this feeling Arsenal will sign Yaya Toure in the summer, we've been linked with him constantly, although I rather Wenger get Gokhan Inler, the Turkish swiss guy from Udinese, tough tackler, strong in the air, high energy and the ability to hit goals from outside the box, and we've been linked with him for the last 6 months.
Man city made a last minute bid to sign Bendtner (according to todays news) and he has been linked with Inter Milan and Bayern Munich over the summer, guy is talented, tough for him as he has Addebayor and Van Persie in front of him, potentially he could be better than addebayor, talent is there, and his goal scoring record for Denmark is good too. Arsenal would easily get something like 10 million + for him, I think.
According to Wenger, Walcott will eventually play up front, he is doing with Walcott, what he done with Thierry Henry at Monaco, playing him on the wings to encourage him to go past players and be less one dimensional. I think Bobby Robson or someone descried him as the new Gary Linekar, and he's been compared to Owen too, personally, cant wait for the guy to get a chance up front, especially after the way he has developed this season.
Eduardo has the ability to score goals with both eyes closed, world class finisher, hopefully will come back strong.

Can see a 2-1/3-1 to the gunners!
Have a feeling that this will be the game where Addebayor rips it up, last season style, I think the dude will have a strong finish to the season, starting tomorrow hopefully.
Wenger said he will see on Saturday, on Arshavins fitness, then decide, hopefully he will play some part.
My prediction, 3-1 to the Arsenal. Addebayor, scoring 2.
