How did arsenal have glory fans in the late 90's? Most of the 90's was spend under Graham and his boring footy while under Wenger's reign we had only won one title at that stage and United were top dogs in the league and europe.
United by far have the most glory hunters supporting them.
This season united have been by far the best team in England, but that has alot to do with Arsenals and Chelsea's injury problems. Arsenal have played without 3 out of 4 of their top midfield, no club can deal with that.
About liverpool, will never win the title under benitez as he holds europe in higher regard and because benitez sucks in the transfer market, he has had a massive turnover of players, he buys 5 bad players for every good player, while wenger 90% of the time is bang on with his transfers, on one hand you can count how many flops he has bought for substantial money, while you can do a list for benitez.

When did you guys start supporting United? Before or after they won the treble in the late 90's. Glory Hunters I tell ya!!!!!!!!! born in 87...supported dem since i was 4-5...when the premier league started i was 5..n united were just a normal team back then...it was about teams like wimbledon with vinny jones n spurs with ferdinand etc India battered NZ in the ODI's though...balle Sehwag and Yuvraj short boundaries n small stadiums...yuvraj n sehwag are flat track bullies

What I meant about Arsenal was they reached 2 european finals (ecwc) in mid 90s plus they did double of fa cup and premiership in 1998, uefa final in 1999, so they started to gain more supporters....anyway forget about that, this glory hunter stuff will always exist but I get annoyed when I am called one, I am no way a glory hunter. With success comes a bigger following so United will always have a big fan base. On the injury topic, all teams have to deal with injuries its part of the game, thats why teams need strength in depth. Its hard when you lose a key player and obviously it effects results to a certain extent but this cant be used as the main cause of an unsuccessful season. I agree with you on Rafa's buying habits. Fergie has always done well in the transfer market, he knows how to get the best out of young players, he knows when to buy and when to sell players but still I can even admit he has made some dodgy buys like djemba, kleberson, taibi, bellion to name a few. But Ferguson has been in the job a long time and should never be doubted on his decisions.

Mods, move this thread, has nothing to do with music. thank you. fools and your little football game. India battered NZ in the ODI's though...balle Sehwag and Yuvraj This thread should be moved, I think the sports/football forum should be used more for intresting debates! On the cricket subject....based on current results, this is where i get my coat and close the door behind me!.... i support England not India and this also applies when England play India. My IPL team is Kings XI Punjab and I love it as I can then cheer the amazing Yuvraj Singh!

Fergie and Wenger are in a different league when it comes to buying players, benitez doesn't have the knack even though I like Agger and Skertle.
Arsenal were never going to compete this season without Eduardo, Cesc, Walcott, Rosicky, Addebayor, Toure etc, all out for big chunks of the season.

In regards to arsenal...most people have disregarded them since henry left....their transfer policy in terms of spending has been reduced because of the stadium being built. But anyone saying they arent up their with the other top 3 teams is dopey....wenger is the best buyer of young talent and on a budget...you cant complain about injuries though...every team gets players out for long term (look at chelsea with essien...hes returned and already on fire...same with eduardo)...I have more respect for Wenger and arsenal than liverpool n the waiter....they are the nearest equivalent to what we have with Fergie and Man Utd.

Owen Hargreaves out all season Wes Brown out 90% of the season Gary Neville (club captain) out 90% of the season Rooney missed games at the start of the season Ronaldo been out after meaningless friendlies for Potugal Evra suspended for 4 matches (that was a joke) Anderson out for a month Carrick spent time on the sidelines Park Ji Sung missed a few games Rafael been out for nearly 2 months so far Lets not kid ourselves all of those players can lock down a place in the starting XI so to say that its been because of injuries to other teams is the reason for United being top is a bit far fetched... If your going to challenge for the big trophies you got to have the squad to do it...

Haha, those minor injuries (hargreaves and neville apart) compare nothing to Rosicky (been out for over 15 months), cesc (been out for months), eduardo (has just come back) walcott (just returned after months out), thats our entire midfield out with serious injuries.
Also read what I wrote bruv, United were the best team by far, my point about our injuries was that we never had a chance this season.
You can talk all you want about having big squads, its easy for you united and chelsea fans, you have sugar daddies who take care of you, Arsenal can only spend what they have, taking that into consideration, Wenger is doing a GREAT job at Arsenal, he has to find youngsters, back them, and play them.
Im not saying we would have won the title had our players not got injured, im just saying we would have competed much better, the Arsenal you are watching this season pales into comparison to what is possible had we had better luck with injuries.

Nice champions league draw, I know the united fans are S#!tting it, that they got the mighty free football playing arsenal in the semi's... muhahahahahahahaha Get past Villareal first lol...you couldnt even get past them without the penalties last time around...what makes you think its going to be easier this time around? They might not have riquelme, but they have a solid line up (everton/aston villa equivalent of la liga?) united cant blame injuries...the only team that can in the top 4 are arsenal...rosicky aint stepped foot on a pitch for god knows...eduardo has just come back...fabregas has only just started spitting (LOL)...we had 1-2 injuries yeh...but nothing compared to what happened last year when half the team was crocked n to the liverpool fans/media trying to p!ss on man utd.....if my memory serves me well liverpool were cruising to their first league title in january n everyone was saying utd aint got a chance...never underestimate us. We`ve had 2 bad games (most of it looks like laziness from people like evra, o shea, carrick, ronaldo, vidic, berbatov....oh and the odd tantrum from rooney/ronaldo) All good teams go through rough patches..its how they react to it that matters. Liverpool are on a roll...credit to them they are free scoring rather den drawin 0-0 as per usual. The trick is though, to do that all season...n in man utd's case consecutive seasons.... all i know is united have still got a lot of fuel in the tank...n its going to be a great run in whether you support liverpool or man yoo.

Will be a tough game in spain, but we will score atleast 2/3 at the emirates against villareal, they have a dodgy defense, we will rip them apart at our ground, they have a strong midfield though, im happy arsenal avoided bayern munich, they would have over powered arsenal.
