I am an Asian and Urban Music DJ, I am available for all your party requirements - small to big, I provide a professional, honest and friendly DJ service, I specialise playing for Restaurants, Bar’s, Clubs, Pre-Wedding, Weddings, Birthdays, Anniversaries and Radio
I DJ mostly in the Leicestershire area but my expertise has been called upon in Coventry, Warwick, Derby, Nottingham, London, Birmingham, Stoke on Trent and Berlin Germany
I started DJ'ing while studying at the University of Leicester in 1999 and I was a regular DJ on the University’s own radio station called LUSH FM. I aired the first Bhangra shows in the radios history. I mixed together a fusion of Bhangra, House, Drum and Bass and UK
How Did You Start Out?
I started mixing the good old fashioned way by using traditional 12” Vinyl’s and using my newly bought Technic 1210’s to mix on. I would buy records each and every week from local Leicester record shops - these were mostly House & Garage and Drum & Bass records. I also made trips to Southall Broadway in London to buy Indian / Bhangra records and then mix these in with the English music to create a totally new live remix sound. I would spend hours perfecting my mixes and creating hour long sets so I was able to recreate the same mix, order, scratching and performance when playing live in front of crowds at University and at small private parties
From the live mixing I went to remixing tracks on my computer and then to producing fresh sounding beats and music using production tools like Reason, Fruity Loops and Acid and then overlapping and cutting up vocals. I have continued playing for private parties and functions when I get requests to do so. Gone are the turntables and in have come digital mp3 mixing using the latest live mixing software and MP3 controllers. I have been building up my skills, equipment and people skills for the past few years; I now feel comfortable to be able to perform week in and week out in front of larger and more diverse crowds. In this time I have also learnt how to play basic patterns on the dhol and I incorporate this into my live DJ sets

Everyone dreads a DJ with awful speakers with poor sound quality and tacky lighting. I take great pride in using professional, smart, reliable and stylish equipment which consists of excellent state of the art lighting which fills any venue room and a great sound system with excellent sound quality. All of which looks highly presentable in any room
No two functions are the same so this is why a list of information is needed specifically the date of your function, the venue of where it is being held, how long I would need to be on site for, the number of guests that will be in attendance, the occasion of the event and if you require any optional extras for example Star Cloths, L.E.D dance floors etc – don’t worry as all bookings are confirmed with a booking contract between me and you
