A soul stirring talk detailing the sacrifice of Guru Gobind Singh ji's

wife
and all their children for the sake of Truth and Justice. It is hard not
to
be moved by the courage of the elder Sahibzade as they fought in
handfuls
against thousands of Mughal troops and the bravery of the younger
Sahibzade
as the Wazir Khan of Sirhand bricked them alive.
This will guarantee to leave you full of pride about your heritage.
Tuesday 17th February - GET HIGH. Guru Har Rai Gurdwara Sahib. West

A Kirtan Darbar with Kirtan by young Sikhs for young Sikhs. Come and
gather
to sing the Guru's Word. Gurbani is the key to connecting with your
spirituality and its most powerful when it is sung in the Guru's Sangat.
There will be English translations of the Kirtan along with small talks
and
literature plus the traditional chips and pasta.Contact your uni if you
need
transport there.

will
come and lead small group discussions about Gurbani verses that they
feel
represent an important aspect of Sikhi. As we said before, Gurbani is
extremely powerful and unfortunately not many of us can understand it.
It is
hoped that this event will manage to bring across the beauty of Gurbani
in a
language we can understand and connect to our everyday lives.so anyone
who
says that they don't understand Gurbani cannot miss out on this!!
