Third Test Match Perth Australia 244 (M E K Hussey 74 no, M S Panesar 5-92 Monty Panesar stole the show as England enjoyed the best of day one of the third Ashes Test in Perth, claiming five wickets as Australia were bowled out for 244 after winning the toss and deciding to bat. Panesar looked calm and focused from his very first ball and then claimed his opening wicket with his seventh delivery of the series to leave Ricky Ponting's side struggling on 69-3 at lunch. But it was Panesar's day as he made Australian supporters aware of just how deadly he can be with the ball - and reminded England fans of what they had been missing in the first two Tests. about time they got panesar back in the team! ;D

Monty always should have played ahead of Ashley Giles, simply coz Monty was in form, and Giles was jus coming back after injury, also Monty is simply better.
Fletcher and Flintoff went with Giles coz he's one of the boys, thank god for england they listened to every1 (ex players like botham) and picked Monty.
Dont get it twisted tho, there will be times when Monty bowles a million times better but does't take wickets, thats bowling for you. Monty has to repeat what he done today, the dudes gotta be consistent, if he does that then the england selectors will be proved wrong.
Props to Giles tho, he was happy for Monty and he even came on the pitch to shake Monty's hand, gotta give Giles credit for that, the dude has always been a team player.

yeh good comments made above...monty is on form and has stolen the show in austrailia..he needs to improve on his batting and thats wher Giles is good..dnt get me wrong though monty has already made his name in the records in as one the highest numbers of wickets in ashes.
