USA are quite a good team, don't they thrash all the teams in your region? (im guessing you are american) They even beat mexico now days.
They beating spain at the moment, but the european teams don't take this competition seriously, its just a mess about.

No team ever to win the Confederations Cup has gone on to lift the following year's World Cup. After last night's result I hope this fact remains true come next August Oh, and the England U21s didn't see ze Germans coming either ;D

I think brazil could well win next years world cup, solid defense, balanced midfield with the steal and hard work of gilberto silva and felipo melo, and the attacking brilliance of kaka, robiniho etc, and up front then have a lethal finisher in fabiano, although he probably wont be leading the attack next year if pato develops this year at milan, that guy is the new ronaldo (the brazilian ronaldo).
England's under 21 team is poor, I can only see gibbs, walcott, onuaha and richards stepping up, maybe joe hart too.

Pato's got enough technical ability to be as impressive as Ronaldo, but I think he lacks the upper body strength to rival R9 for supremacy. I feel Pato is one of European football's brightest prospects though. For Milan's sake (and that of Serie A) I hope he doesn't follow Ancelotti to Stamford Bridge; which he won't do if Galliani handles it any better than the whole farse involving Fabiano.

USA Team indiviually has improved alot however the coaching is still awful,, our main team do beat all the teams around our area, however Mexico has the potential to dominite world soccer (in my opinion) I Want to see USA do damage, nothing makes me more happy to see us beat European teams at there best sport

Bad day for Arsenal and Milan It seems not even Van Persie's 94th minute effort was valid enough Pato and Co. are already missing Kaka, getting mauled by Inter like that

Difficult and painful to accept defeat today. With a weakened team, missing 4 crucial players from midfield (fabregas, nasri, walcott and rosicky), we were the better team against united in their back yard. Robin Van Persie was denied by great goal keeping and the cross bar, otherwise the game would have been over with 30 minutes left. Almunia let us down, he is the weak link at the back. We were unlucky, as jamie redknapp said, ''you don't always get what you deserve in football'', and we certainly deserved more today. Quite positive and optimistic about the season, despite todays setback, alex song is a monster, vermaelen has been phenomenal and our work ethic is excellent. Top 2 is realistic, not sure we can be champions as I still think we are missing a striker and a back-up centre back Didn't catch the milan game, but I think leonardo has his work cut out, that squad needs shaking up big time, old and tired, need some more young blood to accompany the likes of pato and silva... Easier said than done looking at milans financial statement.

Robin Van Persie was denied by great goal keeping and the cross bar Yeh must admit, [as a neutral] I was egging that FK to go in, lovely whip on the ball Didn't catch the milan game, but I think leonardo has his work cut out, that squad needs shaking up big time, old and tired, need some more young blood to accompany the likes of pato and silva... Easier said than done looking at milans financial statement. Ironically, it's no coincidence that Silva and Pato were the two best (and youngest) Milan players on the pitch. I'm a big fan of Huntelaar (105 in 136 for Ajax is phenomenal! ), but he made an insignificant debut. I'd like to see Leonardo do well but as long as Berlusconi and Galliani continue to build a team with an average age of well into the thirties, I don't see that happening. The £56m raised by the Kaka sale just cleared the debt caused by not being in the UCL last season.
