I dont know why people are going all crazy over artists doing drugs. I bet half of the people on this board have tried drugs, or you just dont have much of a social life. You can try saying our culture is all this and all that when it comes to purities, but you forget that our culture is stained by alcohol and drug use. so it doesn't matter if you grew up in india or abroad you must likely have ran into people that use drugs and they are punjabis. I certenly have done my share so I cant knock these artists for doing it. anyways i would perfer all artists to do a couple of lines before they come on stage, it would just make it more exciting. as for babbu mann i'm not saying he doesn't do drugs, but he definatly doesn't do smack or cocaine before going on stage, because he looks more down than anything.

He ain't no Punjabi as far as im concerned. People who represent Punjab are the likes of Gurdas Mann, Harbhajan Mann (You ain't never gonna hear 1 foul word from his mouth), Sarabjit cheema, Jazzy B (He might dress like he wants to fit in and act cool but thats only a fashion offence nothing else, hes music mainly is on track, inform me if i'm wrong) and others too. Those guys have done everything there is to do in the music industry, Do they have bad influences on people? No. Do they make stupid pindu mundeh (who got nothing to do, just skipping school, thinking they are heroes, on their bullets and all bollywoody bullS#!t) want to take drugs and think they are all cool yarr? No. So all in all, what is Babbu Mann? I'll tell you what, a sellout, one minute hes all amli and high the next I see the pr!*k wearing a pugg and now hes supossed to tell us hes changed cuz he admits he takes drugs? All you fools can't see this, he is nothing but a pr!*k. gundarse mann is the real sellout, and since when does jazzy b represent punjab

Did any of you fools know that just this monday it was the birthday of Sri Guru Nanak Devi Ji? Here all you fools are talking about drugs and S#!t. I have never taken drugs and have only drank alcohol when someone has given me it which I do regret because well on occasions there is alcohol and when its put infront of you, you are expected to drink. I regret it but I know my mistake and I try to avoid it, like meat. When your a kid, you don't know what your doing and thats a mistake on my part and the person who gives me it. I can't disrespect my religion anymore, if you guys want to go ahead, even though I hope you guys just realise what you do. No-one can stop you or any of these artists from taking drugs or alcohol but have a little respect. Babbu mann and all these singers are performing for all audiences therefore they need to atleast show a little respect.

Good for you pal give yourself a pat on the back, and what has guru nanak dev ji's janam din got to do with this? I don't know what pakhandhi baba you are trying to impersonate but most of us live in the real world where believe of it or not drug's, alcohol, women or whatever are part of it...so first off let's be realistic. You think because Harbhajan and Gurdas Maan don't swear they represent what Punjab is today? Your argument doesn't have a leg to stand on. Sari duniya nu Babbu Maan jaan da...Australia, New Zealand, U.S, U.K. This guy is talking about the real issues happening in Punjab and talking very honestly about these issues, i.e Ik Baba Nanak (Pakhandhi Babeh), Ucchian Immartan (The state of people/corruption in Punjab), Aashquan Di Line (Bush, Al Qaida, Obama, again problems in Punjab). This guy is a Scholar, a writer, a composer, a singer, and most of all he is a translater of the truth!!! This guy represents the people of Punjab to the fullest because of all the above.

I'm confused about all the hostilites going on here.. ?? this is a class track, guy speaks the truth - there are enough pakhandi babai out there. Guru Granth Sahib Ji is the leader of the Sikh faith - Sab sikh nu hukam he Guru maneyo Granth. Massive respect to the people who spread the word of Guru Nanak, but there are those who do it and try to gain from it personally...

'm with 5abi, how can you be 'expected' to drink??? I just don't get how that works, I don't drink but I have had the situation where I've been given the old "kichla hun" to which my response was "erm, lan teh vaj!" Word got round and I have never been asked again... dude you must have some messed up friends or relavtives who expect you to drink it if its there...

A lot of bullS#!t has been said on this thread by the anti Babbu Mann brigrade, its time to get this thread back on track! The Singh better than king album is amazing, it is a masterpiece! Even if you guys don't like Babbu or his songs, this album is still defo worth listening to, the lyrics are very deep and meaningful. The production on the tracks is very good too, obviously your Aman Hayer and Sukshinder Shinda production fans may think differently but I was pleased with the end product. Here is the link to the album z 1 0.com/album/26678/Singh%20Better%20Than%20King-Babbu%20Mann.html

^ doubt he would listen to that pressure...probaly a politician....however im guessing babbu had the last laugh on this....this song (with audi bit) was widely available on the net...this song got talked about before the release...majority have heard it...and they probably heard the audi bit. Seems intentional on babbu part and he got his message out one way or another...speculation here. thats all. would love some real insight into this.

Mujhadeen and Taliban have been fighting for their desh for years..he mention's about 'Taliban da gussa' in earlier song 'Hikk utte gut' (sorry to detract from subject)
