Huge boost to khalistan ..... who cares nowdays for khalistan, khalse taan bano pehlaan khalistan di payi hoyi tuhanu, dimaag firey ne yaar lokaan de. Well said. He has sung a song about the truth -what has that to do with Khalistan? This facebook account is just trying to drum up support for Khalistan by using Babbu. Have they forgotton his lyric-Sada Punjab Sada Kashmir ne inch inch nahin shadna khich tey likeer - he hardly seems like a pro Khalistan type of guy

there is somebody on the following forum who puts this whole debacle across quite well. www.sikhsangat.com/index.php/topic/47901-singh-better-than-king-babbu-mann/page__st__12i'll post the post i'm referring too.... This is an example of classic divide and rule that Sikhs let happen all so often.
I agree and accept that Babbu Maan is not a Gursikh. But at the same time he represents what Punjab's youth is like. The youth have love, respect and care for Sikhi in their heart whether they are keshdhari/amritdhari or not. Maan's songs reflect the voice and thoughts of every day Punjab's youth and the genuine Panthic concern they have.
I think this whole S. Dhandrianvala vs. Mann issue is useless. Maan hasn't mentioned S. Dhadrianvala in the song. The song should apply just as easily to Raam Rahim or Bhaniara vala. I think everyone with knowledge of Sikh issues recognizes that Baba-ism is a big problem that is a corrupting influence. It doesn't mean that genuine parcharaks are bad but at the same time, we can't turn a blind eye to Babas running personality cults.
Babbu Maan's songs are pro-Sikh (and also, importantly, anti-Indian establishment), whether he fits our ideal of a Sikh or not is not the issue. S. Dhadrianvalay also has a huge following and is doing good work. Maan's latest record was a good opportunity to use his very popular persona to educate and bring awareness to the youth in Punjab but instead, it's being used as a tool to split Sikhs into pro-Maan and pro-Dhadrianvala groups, when the two don't have opposite interests here. We let this sort of splitting happen all the time, be it on the lines of Jathebandis, or keshdhari/mona or even amritdhari vs. the rest. All of us who call ourselves Sikh have a lot more in common than we realize and we accomplish nothing by being divided against each other. I'll let you all think who IS gaining though. Doesn't take a genius.

lol Babbu Mann is bang right.... the other 'sants' getting angry have no grounds to argue on apart from their support from vulnerable brainwashed fundis
Mann has sung a song which has hit the nail on the head, the only reason some 'sant' would have something against this is because his finances are decreasing and his dera is losing its fancy items.... as the meerkat says 'seeeeemplez'
there is no panjabi out there who is well versed in Sikhi and has the intellect to figure out the truth that would dislike this song!

another point is...
Babbu maan did not once say anybodys name in his song...
The fake sant dudes are all taking offence because they're aware of what they are doing and looking to justify it. In the facebook the two idiots have implied that this song was about them because they are driving around in luxury imported cars (remember the tax on them!) so they are driving cars worth as much as high end rolls royces, bentleys etc. what about the sikh sangat who have to get up everyday and go to work to feed their kids, they have to drive simple cars don't they?.... isn't being a sikh about simple living... not to take pride on things, well you can't take anything as a status symbol as much as you can about a car!
The responses to this truthful and deep song are based on nothing... mr. ranjit says its about a time period well if he listened carefully then he'd understand that its about simple living and how this has now changed!
The fact of it is these dudes do actually drive around in insanely expensive cars, ones which educated professionals probably can't afford in india or england... as they say the truth hurts!
