do u love her...or is it just arranged? do u feel u can lead a life with her? personally dont think marriages in the family are acceptable.however in old societies n civilzations it was completely normal. even muslim families find it acceptable.its a matter of ur own conscience..if u really like the girl n feel u r a good match...u shouldnt even bother abt people frowning!

from how i understand it...you'd be marrying ur mammi's sister and that doesnt sound ok to me a great deal...its tru that pakistanis marry their first cousins..but thats certainly not accepted in punjabi sikh culture...so if u think bout the future the children that your mamma/mammi have would call ur wife massi ji, but then you would be their cousin that wouldnt fit right with many families i know

^^Yeh it is ok to get married to your mami's sister. your mammi or bhabi can get ur married to any members of their family. however, ur massi's n pooah's cannot do ur rishta to any of their in-laws.
