Crowds go wild at Mela

MORE than 70,000 people attended the second London Mela which was hailed as the most successful to date.

The biggest south Asian festival in the capital wowed the crowds at Gunnersbury Park, Popes Lane, Acton, on Sunday. The event was organised by Ealing Council.

Asian pop sensations the Rishi Rich Project, Jay Sean and Raghav played to thousands of screaming fans at the free event with classical artists Shri Hemant Chauhan, Ustad Chand Kadari and Afzal Chishti, who were flown over from Delhi in India especially for the event.

This year's mela included children's entertainment, a vast array of food stalls, mehndi demonstrations and sporting events.

Rishi Rich Jay Sean, Juggy D, Raghav, Panjabi MC & Bally Sagoo are some of the people who help pushed the Asian scene towards the mainstreme.
Hopefully this new collabration between Jazzy B, Harvey (So Solid Crew), ALisha (Misteeq) & Ravi Bal will be another one
Jazzy is a brilliant singer, but has never got the respect he dersevs out side the Bhangra market.
Hopefully this will chnage now.

Jazzy B is one of the Bigest Singers on the Punjabi Scene today, he's always playing ggis around the world & from what I know & from people like Skillz, Krayz, PMC, Illegal demo who are all people I know, on a personal level, all say Jazzy is the man.
He is one of the most expensive to hire for weddings as well (£3,400 is what we paid to him last year for my brothers wedding) and the guy is a wicked performa! ;D

So maybe you don't get respect on the scene & you or yo ucan't afford to book Jazzy ;)or something like that!
