in bit of a situation...any help would be appreciated...im going Asian Ball in May and unlike 2 previous years ive been I wanna wear sumthing traditional..and not the usual suits or tuxedo's in always opted for. I was thinking 'Sherwani' but now I prefer 'Jodhpuris' I think they look heavy..tried 1 on wen i went Melton Road for a quick browse but i werent really feeling what they had to offer..neway wot i wanna no is where are the best places for buy these kinda things...and if they have there own websites could u let me know plz. I no a really good website u should checkout but it might b a bit pricey for a ball and they are made to measure shipped from india so u wud need 2 b quick placing an order. I would recommend this site more for a guy getting married but check it out anyways. www.benzerworld.com and look under "classics". They have some lovely stuff. Wot r jodhpuris....aint that wot jockeys wear!!! Def go traditional tho....guys in sherwanis look hot!!! If u wna travel go southall or green street they got plenty of stuff.....jaan in southalls gd!!! N daminis in lestas gd too quite expensive!!! Jodhpuri is like a suit...its both traditional and western..the sherwani's ive seen are just to over the top..groom type..not suitable for a asian ball at all

Sherwani is an amalgamation of the Indian salwar kameez and British coat.Though Sherwani looks stunning but i personally feel that Jodhpuriswhich is a short nehru collared jacket which is worn with matching formal trousers and a shirt underneath or a round-neck close fitting top will be perfect for an asian ball...
