I am ready for the package called Bollywood” Says model Urvashi Sharma, who has bagged an eight-filmdeal with Tips Films.
Many models treat their career as a stepping-stone to Bollywood. Twenty-two years old Urvashi Sharma is no exception, except that this Bollywood aspirant has bagged a contract for not one but eight movies with Tips Films via hermodeling agency, Elite. She will debut in a love story, whichincludes the elements of a thriller. The film will be directed byKookie Gulati, who assisted Ken Ghosh on ‘Ishq Vishk’ and‘Fida’.“I always wanted to modeland eventually, get intomovies,” says Urvashi, adding,“as a child, I wanted tobecome a doctor and even myparents hoped that I wouldbecome a professional.”Currently studying for her final year BSC exams, Urvashifeels that education is important even though her career in filmsis cemented. “I had problems attending classes sometimes due tomy work, but I still managed somehow. After I passed my 12th standard, I decided to study through correspondence.”Having done her first commercial for McDonalds, she soon featured in commercials for Garnier, TBZ and Ponds.
