Lucky – No Time For Love, starring Salam Khan and introducing Sneha Ullal. Lucky is the first co-production between Bhushan Kumar-Kishen Kumar (Super Cassettes Industries Limited) and Sohail Khan Productions. Lucky was shot entirely in Russia and is set against the romantic and majestic backdrop of St. Petersberg, and the producers had to co-ordinate a thousand strong Russian crew as well as a large Indian contingent!
With a partnership spanning over six years, the director duo of Radhika Rao and Vinay Sapru rewrote the rules of creating, marketing and packaging music with blockbuster videos such as “Maine payal hai chankai” and “Parde mein rehne do”. Having picked up numerous MTV, Channel V, Zee and Rapa awards for their videos, they felt the need to give new direction to their creative instincts. Lucky is their first full-length commercial feature and with story, screenplay and direction by this talented duo it promises to be an emotional, musical and visual extravaganza.
Lucky is a tale of love that brings together two people who would never have met and fate not intervened. Lucky (Sneha Ullal) is the quintessential dreamer but she lives in turbulent times. On her way to school one day she is caught up amidst a sudden and unexpected wave of insurgency and in her attempt to escape the rebels she is thrown into contact with fellow countryman Aditya Sekhri (Salman Khan). So begins a journey, fraught with danger, by two people with nothing in common except the desire to get home safely. As they travel through everything from ambushes to icy wilderness, they discover both the limits of their endurance and that love works in
