Asian Football Special 24th July in Five Live Sport, 9 – 10pm British Asian footballers are looking overseas to find opportunity as they feel they're not being given a chance in the UK. Five Live asks are clubs missing out on a rich source of potential talent? Why is this happening? Current British Asian players and coaches, top club scouts and academics plus representatives of foreign football associations share their thoughts on why they're keen to reap this talent. Russell Fuller is joined in the studio by QPR’s Zesh Rehman and author of "British Asians in football" Dan Burdsey. In the Liverpool studio are Majid Lavji, Managing Director of AsiaEurope, organiser of the One Culture Festival with promotes football in the Asian and Ethnic communities and overseeing Pakistan football trials later this week and Gary Townsend, executive board member, Everton football club. Other contributors include Harpal Singh, former Leeds player now at Bohemians in Ireland, Navid Hadir, Director of Marketing for the team programme at the Pakistan FA who is here to organise the Pakistan football trials in Rotherham, amateur player Taj Hussein who is going to the Pakistan football Association trials and from British Asian players at APSA - All People's Sport Association. You can listen to Five Live via DAB radio, online at bbc.co.uk/fivelive, 909 & 693 AM, Digital Freeview - channel 705 or Satellite - channel 0105 The programme will be available to listen again online via bbc.co.uk/fivelive

Drenthe's going to chelsea as soon as Robben goes to Real Madrid, he'l back up Florent Malouda, if Robben stays then maybe the gunners have a chance of getting him.
