i care....
India are going thru a rough period, the young players are'nt performing and the experienced player have had injuries or are jus out of form, rahul dravid is injured, virender sehwag has jus come back, and yuvraj singh is out injured.
Here's my plan for the remaining 1 dayers with south africa.
Drop harbhajan singh, the dude needs a rest after a great year in which he has been indias best bowler. Play kumble.
Drop wasim jaffer, not good at all.
Bring back vvs laxman and play him, thats gonna happen now that dravid is out.
Drop munaf patel and play sreesanth, sreesanth is the only quick bowler we have that i think causes some danger, the rest are average. Play irfaan pathan, he can always take early wickets, even tho he's been out of form too.
Also, bring back saurav ganguly. The guy can play on south african surfaces, india need his experience, the guy scored over 100 against punjab in mohali, a pitch similar to the ones in south africa. India dropped him to give young players a chance but the kids aint doing it. Chappel needs to squash his beef with saurav, on form, ganguly is one of the most stylish batsmen on the planet.
Also chappel is going back to oz and taking over as the austrlia coach, u cant blame him for that, but he cant be allowed to dictate the ganguly situation.
The big problem india have is we have no quickies. Look at australia, they have mcgrath, clark, lee, now they got mitchell johnesn and shaun tait, we have no1 on that leval, even tho i have some hope for sreesanth.
Without great bowlers u dont win sh1t in world cricket. Its sad and abit wierd that a great country where cricket is a religion we cant produce quickies, england have with harmison, jones and flintoff, even west indies have bravo and best, pakistan got some great ones etc, even new zealand have bond.
Harbhajan singh is the only great bowler we have the rest are just good at best. Even if we had jus 1 great quickie like mohammed asif, we would be great, basically the india bowlers dont scare any1. You can have great batsmen but if u dont have bowlers who can consistently take wickets, ur gonna struggle.
Also what is pissing me is off is that chappel is doing too much chopping and changing, need more consistentsy. The team now seems to be playing a naive brand of cricket.
India as a set up need to look at themselves, we have the best players at under 17 leval, under 19 leval but on the full international scene we aint cutiing it, its a deep problem. The indian cricket board seems happy to rake in the money from sponsors, thats seems to be their main aim, ther is'nt another side who bring in more money from sponsors and marketing than india, which has made the indian cricket board prolly the most powerful sporting organisation in the world, but the development of players is suffering i think, under achievers, il leave it at that.

india are out of form. Also, Sehwag has been injured, dravid is injured, then yuvraj singh got injured, these are some of the best players in the world, no1 can cope with injuries like this.
Also, india need time to get use to the south african conditions.
No big deal, form will come back.
