I am disgusted. They will go to hell as people need to appreciate all places of worship. Who knows whats right and wrong in religion unless you have had a religious or spiritual experience. In which case spread the knowledge

desi113 thanks for posting this , this is very serious and esp since it is now 25years since 1984 what a terrible reminder for every Sikh in the world. offical statement form the gurudwara website: www.gurdwarasikhsangatharleygrove.co.uk/index.htmlOfficial Statement of the Executive Committee of the Gurdwara Sikh Sangat Tuesday, 17 March 2009: On Monday the 16th March 2009 at approximately 1.30pm, whilst some women were attending a Satsang a male person unknown to the worshipers entered the Temple through a side entrance. One of the worshipers came from the main hall and confronted the intruder coming down from the top floor and inquired why he was in the building. He replied that he had come to meet someone and then ran out. Shortly after a fire was discovered coming from the top floor Sachkhand room (this room is where the Guru Grant Shaibs/holy books are kept) within the Temple complex. The fire brigade was duly called, but unfortunately the fire had spread to such a degree that they were unable to control this resulted in substantial damage being caused to the Temple rendering it unusable for the foreseeable future. It is our opinion that the fire was started by this intruder who intended to cause maximum damage to the building with complete disregard to the safety of the worshipers by burning down the room and the contents which is most sacred to the Sikhs. We are unsure of the motives behind this incident and are providing our full support to the Police and Fire Authority with their investigation. We would also request if anyone has any information or can assist the police in any way, please contact them on the following numbers: Lime House Police Station - 020 7275 4750, and/or Crime stoppers - 0800 555 111 ------------------------------------------ Azad Singh (London) Gang called London Fields Crew LFC and LFB London Fields Boyz same gang are thought to have done it , graff on the shop shutters opposite the gurdwara say '' We burned ur Book'' LFC LFB , they have beef/friction with bengalis in tht area and attacked the gurdwara - as it was 'asian' the attacker was of african mixrace decent as seen by witnesses - photgraphic evidence of graff will be out soon as well as other evidence such as the gurdwara was the only 'open' building in the estate the other buildings or flats need a passwrd to get inside or a card on which u open the door with.................This LFC crew are based in Hackney as far as we know ------------------------------------------------

as far as we know...we are not a gang
They failed in their effort. Something tells me this whole thing probably started because of some "beef" to begin with. Never mind the connection of folk hop culture to this terrible event.

u knw wots sad about this... these people have no understanding of anything and they think by 'burning their book' as in our guru, they've achieved something, being realistic they've got away with it, and all this bullS#!t about gangs etc. these are small time kids trying 2 play big. if i took em out and showed em whats happened 2 real gangsters they'd be at home studying for their fckin gcses. keep composure, and stand in solidarity, all we can do in a time like this, because realistically these people may have got away with it!

Siddique Islam - AHN Correspondent
Islamabad, Pakistan (AHN) - At least 50 people were killed and over 100 injured when a suicide bomb blast ripped through a crowded mosque during Friday prayers in the country's tribal region along the Afghan border.
The bombing that took place in Bagiari village near a security check post in Jamrud town of Khyber Agency tribal district in north-western Pakistan demolished the two-story building, officials said.
"So far we have counted 50 bodies," the top civil administrator in the Khyber region Tariq Hayat Khan told Geo news, adding that the toll could rise.
He also said up to 300 people were present in the mosque when the blast occurred. Around 125 wounded people had been taken to Sherpao, Lady Reading and other hospitals in Peshawar.
Police, paramilitary forces and government officials were among the congregation in the mosque, about 20 miles from the Afghan border, according to reports.
There was no claim of responsibility but militants had earlier threatened to blow up the police post next to the mosque, locals said.
Also the mosque is blasted. I think people are just want India to fight with Pakistan.

Never forget Bow 09 www.neverforgetbow09.blogspot.com/ Never Forget Bow 09 Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji has never done nothing wrong to nobody. The Sikh teachings teach Sikhs to work for the betterment of Humanity and society. This attack is the lowest of lowest and the person will suffer many reincarnations (hopefully for infinity).
Introduction
Whenever we go to the Gurdwara and stand in the Ardaas, at the end of the Ardaas we recite the following words...
“Guru Granth Jee Maaneo, Pargat Guraa Ki Deh|
Realise that Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji is the embodiment of all the Gurus.
Jo Prabh Ko Milbo Chahe, Khoj Shabad Meh Leh|
Those who seek union with God should search through the divine wisdom of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji.”
These words contain the essence of Sikhi. To a non-Sikh Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji may seem just a book, a piece of well constructed literature from the 15th century; but Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji is much more than that. Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji is the living, talking, eternal Guru Sahib Ji, the Guru who is beyond time and death, the Guru who embodies that divine light which passed from Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji all the way to Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji, the Guru to whom even the Tenth Master Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji bowed Their head, and the Guru who has lead the Khalsa Panth for the last 300 years.
