Why was my post on the dalvinder singh remark on sikhi deleted?
It is something that the artist stated, it is not a made-up point.
Is this site afraid to have the truth heard?

Did anyone watch Brit Asia toady with Suki Bart and Dalvinder Singh; Dalvinder Singh had made a comment about other so called Sikhs (true Sikhs) who would question his work on certain song regarding the fact that he had a turban but a shaved beard with a line, to which Dalvinder singh stated that they were ‘silly people’??
Dalvinder went on to say that he was religious and that God is within him, and that Sikhi is not about preaching.
Are these ‘silly people’ not talking the truth that one should listen and understand about being a Sikh. Under the Sikh Code of Conduct hair is one of the 5 k’s which must be valued and not cut.
This is a very disturbing comment he has made regarding Sikhi. I believe he should apology for this.
I dont know what is wrong with me putting this up. The site may be friends with Dalvinder singh, but if there is something said wrong about a religion, than it is purely wrong.
Do the people on this site have more values for artists or poeples religion?
If I have said something wrong please do tell me and please forgive me for my actions. But if I have said something about the sikh religion which may come across as hurtful, I do not ask for any forgiveness.

Silly people? Silly people are like me and you Dalvinder, people who cut our beards, people who eat meat, people who consume alcohol, people who give into the vices, people who fornicate before marriage. People who adhere to the Sikh code of conduct and would encourage you to do the same (to help YOU in this life and the after-life) are NOT silly people, they are moral human beings and they have an obligation to tell you things that are right or wrong. As Morpheus said in The Matrix:
"I can show you the door, but you must walk through."
And to think I was actually defending when I heard the BBC stopped playing his song. You better apologise Dalvinder or you will pay for it.

Personally music and religion should not be mixed.... Listen to the music not the way the person dresses or looks like.

^^ I respect your views.
However, this comment has nothing to do with his music and more to do with what he said. He is a music artist nevertheless, but to come out with comments as such is going over the line.

It's his business what he looks like as much as I know he aint the only one.... As for the comment it shouldn't have been said.

dalvinder is correct in saying these people are silly! silly people should stop preaching, sikhi is not about that, hypocrits, its all about politics. I bet these same people are the ones that are bigging up their castes and create all the fuss when the gudwarra committee is elected. They should do something positive. Silly people

the sikh code of conduct, which rehit are you referring to, because th real nihang singh maryada only applies to khalsa fauj and not other sikh sampradaiy, whilst the sikh code of conduct is probably the sgpc rehit marayada which only applies to neo-sikhs. by the way i have full darhi and beard, so no point in arguing about this with me
