I went to watch The Da Vinci Code on Sunday, and after reading the book twice, I was intrestd to see how thet made the film. Overall I give it 7/10. A bit slow in places & it does'nt match the book 100%. (Do films ever match the books)? If your not very up on your knowledge of Christian church, more so the Roman catholic, church you might have a hard time following the film.
The highlight for me was the scene about the last supper, when Sophie Neveu was quizzed about the famous picture drawn by Leonardao Da Vinci, by Sir Leigh Teabing in front of Robert Langdon.
The only charater that I thought was not played very well was Silas (The Albino Monk), but then again I've never seen a Albino Monk in any other film, so got nothing to compare it against.
Anyway if've you've not read the book, then I would suggest to watch this first & then read the book.
