After spending many months I finally got a search engine result that lead me here. I have been trying for years to get a copy of the Roshni groups Maar Sutiya. Google searches for roshni maar sutiya bring up nothing. As poster mentions I do not belive in priracy but this is an album I so desperately want. If any one knows where i can buy it froor i would even donate £10 to charity if I got a copy. I heard maar sutiya being played on the BBc asian network a few weeks on the dips bhamra show. I even sent him a Facebook message but no response.
Thanks every so much

Does anyone know a track from the late 80s or early 90s that featured on quite a few compilations.....
Its like an electro beat like Guru Josh's infinity, with dialogue from Gabbar Singh Sholay saying "Are O sambha".
Loved that track, need to identify it and get a cop for my ipod.....

I remember that kind of. I'm not positive, but I think it's either on the Azmat Well Wicked album or Garma Garam 2-Asha Bhosle remix album done by the Extra Hot Dj's. I have the Garma Garam album, I'll listen to it this week and see if it's on there. Then again, I may be completely wrong. But it does ring a bell.

There was a track like this on Amzat's album called "Well Wicked - Power Packed" It also had remixes of Lak Noo by Achanak...Patli Patang by DCS and Loka Nu Nach Vikhaye by Sahotas.. I have the album if it's the one you're thinking about.

Anyone know of a album that among other tracks had these (apologies for incorrect pronouncement) Surma lehne iya, Shava ik lak sorme deh, Tere chanjer khere kamarl
I think it was a band that only did one album, around 1992.

I did ring them but they do not have a copy of the album or know anywhere I could get it from. I did find this on you tube. It's Sukhbir Ral (A.K.A. Bugga) who sang the tracks from the album. Bhangra Hai Pauna - Sukhbir 'Bugga' Ral (Roshney) Live on DM Digital The search goes on.........

Wow what a week, first of all after years of trying, i managed to get a copy of the album. Today i pop in to darlaston asda to pick up a few groceries. On going to collect a trolley i was stunned! Standing in front of me is the man himself sukhbir ral aka Bugga. I was gobsmacked. A man who voice i listened to when i was young and being mesmerized by. Then to lose the album and in the last few years spent trying get it again.
I never knew he was from the area either. I had a good chat with him and found out he is looking re do the tracks with todays touch.

Nice one!! Sounds like you've had an interesting week!
Yes, this was an awesome album! I hope they don't re-do it and ruin the original tracks though. Would be good if they gave it a 'Millenium Mixes' or 'Alaap - The Legend Lives On' type of touch. They were good albums where old tracks were re-done well, IMO.
Bugga did some good stuff with G. Mall & KS. Bhamrah back in the day as well!!
Pitty you never had your cassette with you, otherwise you could've got it signed!!

I did take a picture of the tape on my phone and did show it to him to prove I was not having him on, your right it was well weird week, I even dreamt last night that I had won the lotto too....... Bugga's brother still plays with G Mall. I might pop over to Bugga's pub over the weekend.
