Learn manual, its a better option but girls do prefer automatics...
also, if you take your test in an automatic car, your Driving Licence will only entitle you to drive automatic cars, not manual cars.... A full automatic licence only acts as a Provisional Licence for a manual car. You'll need to take and pass another test to get a full manual Driving Licence.

^^ this in Uk? over here in canada its usually automatic and it cost u more to learn manual but if u do learn manual you can drive both automatic and manual , and vice versa. my car has the option of switching between manual and automatic.

[glow=red,2,300]yh it is... in the uk, its much easier if u do learn how to drive a manual, coz it means less hassle for driving a automatic... changing gears ect. the cars that do have the option in driving i both r gud. my dads car does the same BUT my brother is used to driving a manual... so when my bro drives it, he jus changes it... visa sersa with my dad![/glow]

Manual is the better choice. As you will be able to drive both Manual and Automatic, plus theres a much bigger variety of cars to choose from if you can drive manual (this is if ur in the UK)

£22 is alot, they expect u 2 take around 40 summin lessons
the lessons i looked at wer £19 for manual n £20 for auto

40 LESSONS? .. most of my family and cousins have taken on average around 11 lessons. Depends on how well u can drive. Im lookin at takin 15 max. Ur instructor decides how many lessons u take, some are idiots and just want to try n take as much money off u as they can.

You'll be surprised at how much u learn during the first couple of lessons.... But u not gonna need 40 lessons, thats sounds way too much...
Also, alot of people fail the first time anyway, especially now that over the last 2 years they've made the test abit harder. My lil bro took about 15 lessons, failed twice b4 he passed and he's a excellent driver.

Post by S11NGH on Oct 8, 2006 18:13:30 GMT
That would be pretty stupid if they did, however i dont think they do. But if they did have a restriction on a certain number of passes per day. They wont book u for a day which is full.
