Jo Bole So Nihal withdrawn from cinemas Press Trust of India Posted online: Thursday, May 19, 2005 at 1542 hours IST Updated: Friday, May 20, 2005 at 1200 hours IST Chandigarh, May 19: Within hours of the Shiromani Gurudwara Prabhandak Committee (SGPC) demanding a ban on controversial Hindi film Jo Bole So Nihal, the distributors on Thursday withdrew the movie from theatres across Punjab, Haryana and Chandigarh. "We have sent telegram message to the theatres running this film to stop its screening immediately," I.P.S. Chadha, who is brother of liquor baron Ponty Chadha and producer of the film said on behalf of 'Ginny Arts' film production company. He said objectionable scenes from the film had already been removed. On the title of the film, he said it would not be possible to change it immediately.
