The Sikh Centennial Foundation was formed in 1997 to commemorate the centenary of Sikh settlement in Canada. The Foundation seeks to showcase the diverse achievements of Sikh-Canadians and to promote greater awareness and understanding of Sikh culture and tradition. This goal is fostered through the annual Gala Banquet and the production of high quality multimedia resources highlighting the best of Sikh culture.
The 1984 Memorial Committee was established to mark 2004 as a year of remembrance, as well as a rallying call to Sikhs around the world to educate themselves and the rest of world about the tragedies of 1984.

Americans are Attacking Sikh Americans after Sept 11 tragedy in US. They are doing that because they don't know WHO ARE SIKHS? We need our own homeland in order to protect our identity. Without a home, we have no voice and we will never be recognised. Govt of India didn't do anything to save Sikhs in US. Indian Govt is responsible for killing Over 250,000 Sikhs in India. Why would Indian Govt try to save Sikhs. Many of the Muslim Nations are forcing US Govt to protect the rights of the innocent Muslims. Who is working on our behalf?
